If you want a staple dim sum restaurant in 626 you have to go to NBC seafood. With classic cart service that seemed to have disappeared at a lot of other dim sum restaurants after COVID, it's great to see cart after cart of dim sum served table side again. When you walk into the restaurant you are reminded of the canto-esque feel of the place with large round tables, fresh seafood, and dragon sculptures everywhere. My go to are normally shrimp dumplings, shumai, and shrimp rice noodle, and thousand year porridge which are always on point. The pork ribs are tender and flavorful. My only complaint was that the deep fried dumplings were cold. Definitely was a little disappointing considering that's normally my favorite dish here. Service is prompt, fast. A lot of the staff only speak Cantonese or mandarin but you can get by with basic English.

Delicious dim sum place. Nice and clean inside. There can be a bit of a wait during the weekend, but that's expected. Because it's so large, you're not waiting too long. They have a good system and you can see if your number has been called by listening and seeing their call screen. When you're allowed to order from the kitchen, make sure to get their seafood crispy noodles chow mein! My absolute favorite! The only disappointment we had recently was when we ordered their salt and pepper fried pork chop. It didn't look right compared to every other Chinese restaurant we've ordered it from. There was too much batter on it.

an upscale Chinese restaurant in Monterey Park! my family of 4 came here around 5:30 on a Sunday evening and had no wait, since we weren't here in the daytime, we didn't try the dim sum menu like most others but ordered a couple dishes from the dinner menu - ~ baked prawns with salt/pepper: good! my family really enjoyed this one, not too salty and seasoned nicely ~ house special lobster: soooo delicious!!! the seasonal price was not bad and we got 4 lbs for a reasonable price. loved loved loved the seasoning on this, so rich, saucy and paired so well with plain rice, definitely worth coming back for. we ended off with the usual complimentary red bean soup which was good and a nice end to our meal. overall service was fine, and nothing to complain about. curious about the dimsum menu so I would be eager to return!

If you've done dim sum before, I feel the selection is similar. The flavors are really good and seen fresher than some others we've been to. You kind of need to make eye contact or wave down the carts or you may miss something. It's a bit noisy, but that's kind of the dim sum vibe. It's huge and the parking lot is huge.

This dim sum place is a great spot in the area. It's located in a small shopping center with plenty of parking available. Despite it being Wednesday noon, the place is packed with many customers. The food and service are excellent. Highly recommended.

One of the few dimsum places that still use the carts to serve dimsum! It has been some time since I've eaten here and I'm glad I'm able to come back with friends and my son. The entrance was very beautiful due to the water fountains and live fish roaming the decorations. Definitely a great way to distract the kids. Coming in there wasn't a line early Sunday morning, it did get crowded around 11. We ordered the usual dishes such as deep fried pork dumpling, deep fried shrimp ball, steamed rice noodle with shrimp, har gow, chicken feet with special sauce, sesame balls (lotus paste not red bean), and tea. Very delicious, a bit pricier than other places I've been but I enjoyed the cart since they will roam around and you can see the items before taking them. We ate within an hour and next door is their to go restaurant where you can order dimsum to go. I didn't stay long enough to experience other aspects of the place but maybe next time I will!

It's been over 10+ years since I last came to NBC Seafood and it was long over due. First off, this place gets really busy during the weekends for dim sum (stating the obvious) but what I like is, despite say, having 10 parties ahead of you waiting to be seated, they move relatively quickly because of the size of the restaurant. Food is what you would expect for a decent dim sum place (and that's a positive) and when they roll the carts over, I'm going for it and ordering almost everything I see. That's what's great, you can be seated and eating within a matter of minutes (or less)! The standouts: almost everything, but specifically the pork/shrimp in bean curd, sticky rice in lotus leaf, dan tat, pork shiu mai, turnip cake, shirmp and bbq pork rice roll (cheung fun), and ham sui gok. We'd probably skip the fried capelin fish and dumplings next time. So this was the first time I came since they remodeled, which occurred years ago, if I recall, and I would say the interior is relatively clean and welcoming. It gets loud, as you would expect. Parking can be a challenge if you arrive during peak dim sum hours, so be prepared.
